When I was in school there was a study abroad program that many students participated in. A lot of my friends spent a semester in a different country doing their studies and I wished that I was one of them. Unfortunately, I couldn’t afford the extra money for the program. I decided to start saving enough money from the job that I had on the campus to get a European vacation package for myself as a present for graduation. That didn’t work out either, since other things turned up. Now I am in my 30s and I still haven’t gone on my trip to Europe.
I am hoping to get there very soon. A couple of years ago I started saving money especially for travel and I almost have enough funds to tour Europe for an entire month. I’m starting to look at European vacation packages at the travel agencies. I know where I want to go and what I want to do, so the vacation package I choose will have to include all of those things.
I’ve been encouraged by what I have seen so far. I have looked at a lot of different websites that are travel related and I have found that I can get really good deals on hotel and flight reservations for many of the major cities across Europe. I can also get European vacation packages at lower prices off of the Internet. I have seen really good deals on tours that are fully escorted. If I take this type of tour I will be able to visit Europe with a guide and a group. This is exactly what I am looking for since it is will be my first time abroad and I would feel more comfortable being with other travelers.
I have narrowed my selection down to about three different packages that have everything I am looking for. It took me a long time to come to this point because I had to compare so many different rates. I am almost ready to be able to pay for one of these European vacation packages, and it is almost time to start packing and stop dreaming.
